Food Content Creator/Recipe Developer (m/f/x)

As a Recipe Developer & Food Content Creator, you will join an international and highly talented team and work at the heart of Kitchen Stories – our shoot and test kitchens, where inspiring content for food lovers worldwide is produced. As part of the creative department at Kitchen Stories, you will work cross-functionally, together with the Editorial, Video/Photo, and Partner teams to create exceptional content and support our promise of delivering the easiest everyday cooking experience.

• Pitching, developing, and testing recipes in collaboration with our Editorial teams for our platforms and partners
• Cooking and food styling on set and on camera in our shoot kitchens to create exciting and approachable video and photo cooking content, together with the Editorial and Arts departments
• You support the editors with your culinary expertise and share your knowledge with the team
• Together with a Kitchen Assistant, you support the operational running of our test and shoot kitchens.  
• Together with our Kitchen Assistant, you are responsible for maintaining HACCP hygiene standards in the kitchen and preparation area

We are looking for an enthusiastic person with a diverse skillset who is very passionate about the culinary world. Through your experience in recipe development, recipe testing and food styling, you demonstrate an understanding of the needs of the home cook and develop recipes and food content that fit into their busy everyday lives. You have an outgoing nature and would enjoy representing kitchen stories and our partners on camera. Through your collaborative style, you are able to communicate effectively with our cross-functional teams toward the common goal of producing top-rate, on-brand content.

• You are an experienced recipe developer with excellent kitchen skills and experience managing the operational challenges of a kitchen 
• Ideally, you are a trained chef
• You are flexible and can produce recipes suited for all levels, from absolute beginners up to ambitious hobby cooks, with a focus on simple, everyday recipes
• You have experience in front of the camera, from a professional context or in your own private social media appearance
• You have experience developing, testing, and producing recipes for specific audiences or partners.
• You speak fluent German and would be comfortable doing so on camera, have very good English language skills and work well in an international team
• You are a collaborative team player and are comfortable managing ongoing communication with multiple stakeholders.
• You possess an eye for detail, are independent, reliable, and responsible
• You have a strong awareness of cleanliness and hygiene
